The hybrid's vegetation period varies from 98 to 117 days depending on the growing region, and plant height reaches 170-180 cm. The sunflower head is slightly convex and inclined, with a diameter of 20-22 cm, ensuring convenient harvesting and high oil production efficiency.
The BK 4/RU hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including gray and white mold, fomopsis, fomosis, rust, and false powdery mildew, as well as tolerance to Sclerotinia up to F. To achieve maximum yield, which can reach 50 centners per hectare, it is recommended to follow crop rotation, apply intensive cultivation techniques, avoid overcrowding, and implement effective weed control. The recommended planting density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, depending on soil moisture levels.
