Hybrid sunflower N 37 KL 072 is an intensive variety with high resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, as well as to new races of parasitic weed dodder (A-G+). This hybrid is characterized by high stability and drought tolerance, enabling it to thrive under various climatic conditions. Seeds are calibrated into two fractions: standard with 1,000 seed mass of 52–56 grams and extra with 65–78 grams, ensuring flexibility in sowing and optimizing yield.
N 37 KL 072 has a high yield potential, reaching up to 58 centners per hectare, and high oil content — approximately 55%. It is a simple-type hybrid, recommended for cultivation using ClearField technology, which ensures effective weed control due to resistance to imidazolinone group herbicides. This contributes to obtaining a healthier and higher-quality crop. Sunflower also exhibits high resistance to common diseases such as phomopsis, white and gray rot, and powdery mildew.
Due to its adaptability, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, covering most of Ukraine’s territory. It is resistant to lodging and shattering, simplifying harvest and reducing yield losses. High drought tolerance and stress resistance make N 37 KL 072 a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality sunflower crop.
