Sunflower BG N 1 is a hybrid of Ukrainian selection, distinguished by high resistance to a range of diseases, including phomopsis, phomosis, sclerotinia, gray mold, as well as downy mildew, rust, and powdery mildew. This ensures reliable plant protection and contributes to stable yields. Plants have medium height ranging from 150 to 170 cm, allowing them to adapt well to various climatic conditions and ensure efficient use of sowing area.

Hybrid BG N 1 is characterized by good yield, varying from 45 to 60 centners per hectare. Seeds have high oil content and are suitable for cultivation for both oil and confectionery purposes. Plants have a strong root system reaching up to two meters in depth, ensuring drought resistance and better nutrition under challenging conditions. Heads are large, flat-shaped with diameter ranging from 27 to 42 cm, contributing to high seed yield.

Sunflower BG N 1 is suitable for extensive cultivation and exhibits high leafiness, allowing efficient coverage of inter-row spaces and reducing water evaporation. Vegetative period is approximately 93–99 days, ensuring timely maturity and ease of agronomic operations. Additionally, the variety has good taste qualities and is a good honey plant, expanding its application possibilities in agriculture.
