VULCAN OR

Sunflower VULCAN OR® is a mid-season hybrid developed for high and stable yield under various climatic conditions. The plant reaches an average height of 160-180 cm, does not branch, has intensive early growth and good leafiness, which helps suppress weeds. Leaves are green with slight blistering, and medium-sized heads contain large, well-formed seeds with clearly defined marginal stripes.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to seven races of downy mildew (ABCDEFG), as well as resistance to rust and verticillium. VULCAN OR® has high drought tolerance, ensuring stable yield even under adverse weather and agronomic conditions. Average yield in the North Caucasus region is about 20.3 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 41.9 centners per hectare. Oil content in seeds ranges from 42.3% to 50%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production.

VULCAN OR® is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the North Caucasus, Central Chernozem, Lower Volga, and Middle Volga.
