Sunflower ADVANCE KLP

ADVANCE KLP is a mid-season sunflower hybrid of the new generation, developed for cultivation in the Southern Federal District and adapted to the Clearfield®Plus system. The vegetation period is 110-120 days, and plant height reaches 160–170 cm. The hybrid is characterized by strong growth and the ability to suppress weed development, which contributes to increased yield. The flower head is relatively large and drooping, with medium-sized seeds having a 1000-seed mass of about 58.3 g. Leaf color is green, flower color is yellow, and pubescence is weak.

One of the key features of ADVANCE KLP is the high content of oleic acid in the oil — up to 75%, which improves the quality of the final product. Oil content in seeds is 50-52%, and fat content is about 40%. The hybrid has high productivity potential, reaching 45 centners per hectare and higher, with the possibility of increasing yield to 50-52%. Average yield in the North Caucasus region is about 21.4 centners per hectare, and oil harvest reaches 9.1 centners per hectare.

The hybrid is resistant to five races of downy mildew (ABCD E), has moderate drought tolerance and disease resistance, making it suitable for cultivation under conditions of insufficient moisture. Recommended for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and forested zones, including regions such as the Republic of Adygea and Krasnodar Krai. ADVANCE KLP seeds are selectively adapted to the herbicide Euro-Lightning, ensuring effective application of Clearfield technology and maximizing yield.
