Soy RAT S 01 is a highly profitable agricultural crop that is becoming increasingly in demand among farmers due to its high protein content and good yield. This variety is distinguished by its early maturity period, which allows for sowing into warmed soil and is suitable for second sowings. The plants reach a height of 80 to 110 cm, have an erect stem of medium thickness, and high resistance to diseases, lodging, and pod shattering, which ensures a stable and high-quality harvest.
RAT S 01 is characterized by a high protein content, reaching 42%, which makes it attractive to processors and traders. The technological potential yield of the variety is from 37 to 40 centners per hectare at a recommended sowing density of 750-850 thousand seeds per hectare and a row width of 12.5 to 30 cm. Thanks to its biological features, the variety is a reliable predecessor for winter crops and demonstrates high adaptability to unfavorable conditions.
To increase the efficiency of soy RAT S 01 cultivation, it is recommended to use modern inoculants based on the Bradyrhizobium japonicum bacterium, which contribute to improved nitrogen fixation and, consequently, increased yield. BASF offers two types of inoculants: HAYSTIC SOY, intended for seed treatment followed by sowing within 24 hours, and HAYCOUT SUPER SOY, allowing for seed treatment over a long period of up to 90 days before sowing. The use of such preparations provides farmers with tangible benefits and contributes to the sustainable development of crops.
