Description XANTHUS
Sugar beet XANTHUS is a high-yielding and sugar-rich hybrid designed for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, Steppe, and Central Chernozem regions. This medium-maturing variety is distinguished by its excellent adaptability to different soil types and resistance to major diseases, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.

The hybrid is characterized by high root crop yields — up to 78 t/ha, with sugar content reaching 17.4–18.4%, significantly exceeding standard sugar collection benchmarks. Root crop placement in the soil is approximately 90%, facilitating harvesting and reducing losses. The recommended plant density at harvest is 100–115 thousand plants per hectare, with a sowing rate of 1.4 seeding units per hectare.

One of the key advantages of XANTHUS is its maximum resistance to root rots and cercosporosis, as well as minimal infection by powdery mildew and root pests. This makes the hybrid a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a high-quality sugar beet harvest with minimal losses and reduced costs for crop protection.
