Description ARMESA
ARMESA sugar beet is a diploid hybrid of yield-sugar type developed by Hilleshög. This variety is characterized by high yield and stable sugar output per hectare, making it popular in the agricultural sector. The roots have a broad-conical shape, and the plants are of medium height with green leaf blades. Yield varies by region: in the Central Chernozem region, it reaches 496 c/ha with 17.3% sugar content; in the Volga region, 631 c/ha with 17.4% sugar; and in the Ural region, 238 c/ha. Sugar harvest is also high, reaching 86.2 c/ha and 102 c/ha in the Central Chernozem and Volga regions respectively.

The ARMESA hybrid is resistant to major sugar beet diseases, confirmed by the absence of infections in various growing regions. The recommended plant density at harvest is 100–115 thousand per hectare. Sowing is early, and harvesting takes place from August to November, allowing adaptation to different climatic conditions, including the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe zones.

This sugar beet variety is valued for its high-quality sugar and good taste characteristics. ARMESA requires careful cultivation and adherence to agronomic norms to ensure a stable and high yield. Due to its properties and adaptability, the hybrid is widely used in agronomy and suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones.
