SPINNER SMART

SPINNER SMART — this is an innovative sugar beet cultivation system developed based on the joint experience of Bayer and KWS companies. The technology includes the use of KWS SMART seeds and the herbicide CONVIZO® 1, ensuring high productivity and effective protection of crops against weeds. Thanks to this system, sustainable sugar beet cultivation with minimal treatments is achieved, enhancing the convenience and flexibility of agronomic practices.

CONVIZO® 1 is a two-component formulation containing 50 g of florasulam and 30 g of thiencarbazone-methyl. It has both foliar and soil activity and is effective against all types of weeds, including biennials and annuals, dicots and monocots. For optimal results, the product is applied at a rate of 1.5 L/ha, with the possibility of split applications 2-3 times with intervals of 10-14 days. The herbicide is safe for SMART sugar beet hybrids, with minimal phytotoxicity.

At the "Kamaz-Agro" farm in Rovno region, where the CONVIZO® SMART system is applied, modern sowing and fertilization methods are used, along with continuous soil monitoring to determine nutrient levels and plan fertilization. This allows effectively preventing downy mildew and achieving high yields — last year's yield reached 79 tons per hectare. This season, similar or better results are expected, confirming the effectiveness and prospects of this technology.
