Sugar beet SOLARION is a single-seed triploid hybrid that is characterized by high yield and sugar content. In the Penza region in 2016, yields of up to 550 centners per hectare were achieved with 18.5% sugar content. This hybrid has good storage capacity in cellars, which ensures the preservation of root crops after harvest.
SOLARION is characterized by high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, in particular rhizomania, which significantly reduces the risk of yield loss and increases production stability. The hybrid is adapted to various climatic conditions, making it a universal choice for growing in different regions.
For successful cultivation of sugar beet SOLARION, it is important to take into account optimal temperature conditions: seeds can germinate at temperatures from +5°C, but the most favorable temperature is considered to be in the range of 13-15°C. Also, sufficient light affects sugar content and yield, so proper agronomic care plays a key role in achieving high indicators.
