SIGON

The sugar beet hybrid SIGON is a medium-early first-generation variety intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, and North Caucasian. Plants of medium height with strong green leaf blade coloration form widely conical roots of medium length, which ensures ease of agrotechnical processing and harvest collection.

SIGON is distinguished by its high yield and sugar content. The average root yield is about 570-584 c/ha, while the sugar content reaches 17.4-17.6%. The maximum yield in individual tests reached 1006 c/ha, and sugar collection reached up to 107.2 c/ha, exceeding yield and sugar standards in several regions, including the Lipetsk region and Stavropol Krai.

The hybrid is resistant to diseases, which is confirmed by multi-year trials without detection of infections. Thanks to its characteristics, SIGON is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, ensuring a stable high yield and quality roots, making it a profitable choice for farmers focused on sugar beet production.
