Description S 2269 M
S 2269 M is a high-quality sugar beet hybrid featuring a cylindro-conical rootstock with an average mass of about 700 grams. The plant is characterized by a semi-upright rosette with 50-60 leaves, and its taproot system penetrates to a depth of 2-2.5 meters, branching up to 1-1.2 meters wide. The rootstock has a smooth surface, which significantly reduces soil adhesion during harvest. The vegetation period is up to 120 days, with sowing in April at a depth of 2-3 cm and harvest collection from July to September. The hybrid is resistant to Cercospora, powdery mildew, and rootstock rot, ensuring stability and high-quality yield. The sugar content of the rootstock reaches 18-19%, making this hybrid particularly attractive for sugar and molasses production. Thanks to its universal waste-free designation, all parts of the plant find application: in cooking for making borscht and kvass, in feed production, as well as for technical purposes. S 2269 M differs in its resistance to extreme temperatures, allowing it to be grown in various climatic zones, including Polesie, Forest-steppe, and Steppe. For seed and planting material protection, it is recommended to use a contact fungicidal treatment agent with the active substance fludioxonil, which effectively combats rots, Fusarium, Phoma, Rhizoctonia, and other soil diseases. The dosage rate of the preparation is 9 ml per sowing unit for sugar beets. This ensures reliable plant protection at early development stages and contributes to obtaining a healthy and high-yielding crop.
