HI 0982 — a sugar beet hybrid intended for cultivation in the Central, Central Black Earth, and North Caucasus regions. This medium-late maturing, high-yielding and sweet hybrid is distinguished by a conical root shape with deep soil immersion (80-90%), which contributes to its good stability and quality. The average root mass is about 613 grams, which ensures a high output of the product.

The hybrid possesses high resistance to the main diseases of sugar beets, such as root rots, powdery mildew, and cercosporosis, and also demonstrates weak infestation by root weevil. Over the years of trials, the average root yield reached 551 centners per hectare, sugar content varied around 17.5-17.7%, and sugar harvest amounted to up to 96.3 centners per hectare. In the Tambov region, this hybrid exceeded the standard in sugar harvest by 22.6 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity.
