LUBOMIRA KWS — a single-stem diploid sugar beet hybrid of type E, adapted for cultivation in all sugar beet-growing zones. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to select fertile soils with good agrofond and appropriate preceding crops. Optimal sowing dates are critical, as a one-day delay may result in a loss of up to 1% sugar content. Under favorable conditions, the hybrid yields between 86.9 and 101.1 tons per hectare, with sugar extraction exceeding 17 tons per hectare.
The hybrid exhibits rapid growth processes in the early vegetative stage under sufficient moisture and adequate mineral fertilization. During the early autumn period, root crops actively grow, gaining 6–8 grams per day in mass and increasing sugar content by 0.4–1.5 grams. Growth slows down after the average daily temperature decreases. LUBOMIRA KWS demonstrates high resistance to temperature fluctuations and drought, as well as genetic resistance to diseases such as rhizomania and cercospora.
The seeding rate depends on the cultivation zone and seed treatment level. The hybrid LUBOMIRA KWS is widely used in agronomic practice, including in enterprises of the Ternopil region, where modern fertilization and crop protection systems are applied. Cultivation support is provided both personally and via digital platforms, facilitating successful sowing campaigns and increasing yields.
