This hybrid features balanced performance in yield, sugar content, and juice quality, enabling it to successfully compete with conventional hybrids on non-infested areas. Root mass is approximately 950 grams, yield reaches 101 tons per hectare, and sugar content is 18.5%. Recommended planting density varies from 90,000 to 115,000 plants per hectare, with a seeding rate of 1.3 seeding units per hectare. Optimal cultivation zones include Polесье, Forest Steppe, and Steppe. Sugar beet FRONTERA is a warm-loving and heat-tolerant crop, with an optimal growth and development temperature of 20-22°C; however, photosynthesis is effective even at temperatures above 40°C. The plant requires adequate moisture from the early stages of vegetation, especially during July-August, when root growth is most intensive. Water deficiency may lead to increased nitrogen content in roots. Thanks to its well-developed root system capable of absorbing water from depths up to 2.5 meters, FRONTERA exhibits good drought resistance. Sugar beet seeds germinate at temperatures from +4 to +17°C, with emergence time depending on temperature and varying by 10-15 days. During the pre-harvest period, the crop withstands frost down to -5°C without damage, but lower temperatures may halt sugar accumulation. Hybrid FRONTERA is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polесье, Forest Steppe, and Steppe, making it a universal solution for the sugar industry. Its nematode resistance and balanced agronomic characteristics ensure stable and high yields of quality raw material for sugar production.
