Frida

Frida (HM 5135) sugar beet is a high-yielding variety widely used in agriculture for industrial cultivation. This variety is characterized by high yield and increased sugar content in the roots, making it especially valuable for sugar and other sugar beet-based product production. The seeds possess unique genetic traits ensuring resistance to diseases, particularly rhizomania, which contributes to stable and high-quality harvests.

For successful cultivation of the Frida variety, it is essential to follow optimal agronomic conditions. It is recommended to sow 90–110 thousand seeds per hectare at a planting depth of 2–3 cm. Sowing should be carried out in spring at soil temperatures around +6°C. The plant prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soils with organic and mineral substances and moderate moisture levels. Although sugar beet does not require heavy watering, prolonged drought significantly reduces yield.

Frida sugar beet is characterized by good cold tolerance and high disease resistance, allowing it to be grown under various climatic conditions. For optimal growth, it is recommended to maintain a row spacing of about 50 cm. With proper care and adherence to agronomic norms, this variety ensures high-quality roots and a stable high yield, making it an attractive choice for farmers and agricultural enterprises.
