ZEPPELIN sugar beet is a high-yielding hybrid developed by Strube. This variety is characterized by high sugar content and stable yield, making it especially advantageous for farmers engaged in industrial sugar beet cultivation. The ZEPPELIN hybrid demonstrates resistance to rhizomania, which contributes to maintaining crop health and increasing profitability over several years, particularly in Ukraine.
For efficient harvesting of sugar beet, including the ZEPPELIN hybrid, specialized defoliators such as models AMITY 3300, 3450, 3500, 3550, 3700 and 3750 are used. These machines are designed for cutting stems and harvesting roots, ensuring high-quality and rapid field processing. Defoliators are hitch-mounted and adapted to various planting conditions, including row counts from 4 to 12 and row spacing from 51 to 76 cm.
The drawbar power required for operating AMITY defoliators varies from 100 to 215 horsepower, enabling their use with a wide range of tractors. Utilizing such machinery significantly increases sugar beet harvesting efficiency, helps preserve crop quality, and optimizes agricultural processes.
