Jura is sugar beet designed for cultivation using modern agrotechnical approaches and microfertilizers that ensure high yield and product quality. In 2023, innovative microfertilizers developed by AMVAC GREENPLANTS from Costa Rica appeared on the Ukrainian market, suitable for sugar beet and other crops. Special attention should be given to potassium citrate-based fertilizer, recognized as one of the most effective for potassium uptake by plants, contributing to improved nutrition and beet development.
To enhance plant productivity and health, it is recommended to use complex fertilizers such as YARILLO, which contain a balanced set of nutrients in an easily accessible form. These fertilizers are intended for foliar application during critical vegetation periods, ensuring complete nutrient uptake, compatibility with most pesticides, and resistance to washout by rainfall. They are safe for plants, people, and beneficial entomofauna, making them the optimal choice for comprehensive protection and nutrition of sugar beet.
Jura beet is characterized by high adaptability to growing conditions and agronomy, allowing successful cultivation on various soil types across the entire territory of Ukraine. The plant forms a compact leaf rosette and healthy stem, resistant to major diseases and requiring no pest control. Roots have an oval shape with a uniform dark burgundy color, average weight of 250–300 grams, and diameter of 8–12 cm. The flesh is free of veins and fibers, possesses excellent taste qualities and high content of beneficial substances. The crop is well-stored, transportable, and suitable for consumption both fresh and after various forms of thermal processing.
