BTS 8430

BTS 8430 is a single-shoot diploid sugar beet hybrid with medium maturity, high yield and sugar content. The plant is of medium height with a wide-conical and long root weighing about 696 grams. Average root yield reaches 608 centners per hectare with a sugar content of 17.3% in the roots, ensuring a sugar harvest of 105 centners per hectare. This indicator makes the hybrid attractive for cultivation aimed at obtaining high sugar yields.

The BTS 8430 hybrid is characterized by high resistance to the main diseases of sugar beet, including rhizoctonia, cercospora, aphanothecia, fusarium and powdery mildew. Thanks to this, it is recommended for sowing on fields with a probability of rhizoctonia development, which significantly reduces the risk of yield loss and increases production stability.
