Description X4237
Hybrid sunflower X4237 is a high-oleic oilseed variety with high oleic acid content up to 90%, ensuring high oil quality. Plants reach a height of 155 to 175 cm, featuring a semi-erect head, particularly effective in areas with excessive rainfall. The hybrid has a short and sturdy stem, providing resistance to lodging and promoting good water drainage. The recommended plant density at harvest is 50-60 thousand per hectare.

X4237 exhibits high plasticity and adaptability, making it a leader in survival under abnormal weather conditions. It is tolerant to major sunflower diseases, including downy mildew, white mold, frogeye leaf spot, and stem rot, with resistance ratings of 5 to 6 points. The hybrid’s yield potential ranges from 3.4 to 4.9 tons per hectare, with a medium-early maturity period of 100-105 days.

Hybrid X4237 is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions. It is compatible with the Clearfield® production system, allowing the use of herbicides from this system for effective weed control, including ragweed, and ensuring high yield and resistance to adverse effects. Seed treatment is performed with MAXIM XL 035FS or Cruiser, further enhancing protection and seed quality.
