Sugar beet BTS 1830

Beet sugar variety BTS 1830 is a high-yielding hybrid designed to achieve maximum yield and high sugar content. Plants of this variety are of medium height, with wide-conical and long roots, weighing approximately 696 grams. Average root crop yield in the region is around 608 centners per hectare, with sugar content in the roots at 17.3%, resulting in sugar harvest of up to 105 centners per hectare. This performance makes BTS 1830 an attractive choice for producers focused on quality and quantity of output.

The hybrid exhibits good resistance to major beet sugar diseases, including cercosporosis, aphanomyces, fusarium, powdery mildew, and rhizoctonia. Due to this, the variety is recommended for cultivation on fields with a risk of rhizoctonia, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss. Disease resistance allows BTS 1830 to be used in crop rotations and various climatic conditions, ensuring stable and reliable production.

Sugar beet BTS 1830 is suitable for mid to late harvest periods, providing flexibility in agronomic practices and enabling optimization of harvest processes. High juice quality and stable performance characteristics make this variety advantageous for industrial cultivation and processing. BTS 1830 is a versatile solution for farmers seeking efficient and sustainable sugar beet production.
