Sugar beet BTS 2645

Stability in yield and disease resistance: The BТС 2645 advantage

The sugar beet hybrid BТС 2645 from the renowned American breeder Betaseed is designed for growers who prioritize risk management and reliable performance. As a normal-sugar (NZ) type hybrid, it focuses on achieving a balance between root mass and sugar content, making it a robust choice for various intensive farming operations.

Defense against common field threats

In regions where foliar diseases can compromise the harvest, BТС 2645 acts as a reliable partner. Its primary strength lies in its genetic profile, which provides high resistance to Cercospora leaf spot, powdery mildew, and Fusarium. Furthermore, its notable resistance to common scab makes it a standout choice for fields where crop rotation history or soil conditions increase the threat of this pathogen.

Who should consider BТС 2645?

This hybrid is ideal for farmers practicing intensive cultivation who need a predictable crop that doesn't require excessive fungicide applications. Key benefits include:

• Field Health: Superior defense mechanisms mean less pressure from fungal diseases throughout the season.
• Storage Quality: High resistance to Fusarium rots ensures that the beets maintain their quality during transport and storage.
• Balanced Yield: Excellent performance in tonnage, supported by consistent sugar accumulation characteristics.

By selecting BТС 2645, growers are investing in stability. It is not just about raw numbers; it is about ensuring that the investment in inputs is protected against unpredictable outbreaks of disease, ultimately delivering a high-quality product to the factory.
