The GROM sugar beet hybrid is a mid-season variety with a growing period of 140 to 150 days, recommended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth and North Caucasus regions. The plant is of medium height with semi-erect leaves, a root crop of widely conical shape, medium length, and medium immersion in the soil. GROM is distinguished by high yield and sugar content, making it attractive for industrial sugar production.

Average root crop yield in various regions ranges from 519 to 572 centners per hectare, while sugar content varies from 16.7% to 17.8%. Sugar harvest ranges from 73 to 96.5 centners per hectare, indicating the high efficiency of the hybrid. Root crop mass is approximately 584 grams, ensuring an optimal mass-to-quality ratio.

The GROM hybrid possesses good resistance to major sugar beet diseases. It is highly resistant to cercosporiosis and rumulariosis, moderately resistant to root rots, and has medium resistance to powdery mildew.
