Sugar beet 0 CA 7067

Genetic Potential and Performance of 0 CA 7067

The KWS 0 CA 7067 sugar beet hybrid represents a standard of diploid NE-type (Normal-Efficient) genetics, focused on reliable production under varying field conditions. The engineering focus for this hybrid lies in balancing vegetative biomass with high sucrose concentration, which is essential for industrial processing efficiency.

Disease Resistance and Phytosanitary Profile

A significant technical advantage of the 0 CA 7067 is its robust genetic resistance package, which is designed to mitigate crop stress and protect yield potential. It demonstrates high tolerance against:

• Root rot (Rhizoctonia): ensuring consistent plant stand establishment.
• Cercospora leaf spot: extending the green-leaf duration, which is critical for photosynthetic output.
• Powdery mildew: preventing premature leaf senescence.

Cultivation and Agronomic Practicality

The medium-sized root morphology of this diploid hybrid facilitates efficient mechanical harvesting. By adhering to the recommended seeding density of 100,000–110,000 plants per hectare, the hybrid utilizes the available soil space effectively. With a sugar content ranging from 18% to 19%, 0 CA 7067 stands out as a reliable option for growers aiming to maximize sugar yield per hectare while maintaining high crop quality.
