Description Rosinka
The Sudan grass variety 'ROSINKA' is an annual forage crop primarily grown in the southern part of central Siberia. The plant reaches a height of about 165 cm and has a medium maturity period, allowing for sowing and harvesting planning according to regional agronomic recommendations.

The forage quality of 'ROSINKA' is high: the green mass contains approximately 9% protein (in dry matter), and if harvested at the right time, it retains 14–18% protein. Hay obtained from this crop is rich in sugars (7.9–9.1%) and non-nitrogenous extractives, making it a valuable energy source for livestock. When preparing silage, it is optimal to choose the moment when the plant is filling its grain; in such cases, the nutritional value of the hay is comparable to corn.

The Sudan grass 'ROSINKA' is particularly advantageous when mixed with legume crops, such as alfalfa. Such mixtures increase calcium and protein content, and improve the extractive properties of the feed. Due to its resistance to trampling and ability to regrow quickly (4–5 times per season), this grass becomes one of the best options for pasture areas, providing a stable flow of quality feed throughout the year.
