Soybean Proteinka

Serbian Genetics: Quality and Yield Efficiency

The «Protein ka» soybean variety, developed by the IFVCNS (Novi Sad) institute, is a standout choice for producers who prioritize both crop yield and grain quality. As global market requirements for protein content tighten, this variety offers a reliable solution for farms aiming for premium market positioning.

Agronomic Profile

With a vegetation period of 110–120 days, «Protein ka» fits perfectly into the standard mid-season crop rotation. The plant structure is well-balanced: reaching heights of 90–100 cm, it provides a robust framework for pod formation. Notably, the lower pod attachment height of 12–14 cm is a significant competitive advantage. It ensures that combine harvesters can operate at maximum efficiency with minimal grain loss during the harvesting phase, directly protecting your bottom line.

Resilience and Protection

One of the defining characteristics of this Serbian hybrid is its natural resistance to common soybean pathogens. By providing high levels of tolerance against Peronospora, Septoria, and Bacteriosis, the variety significantly reduces the need for intensive fungicide applications. This makes «Protein ka» a smart choice for sustainable farming practices, where reducing chemical load is as important as maintaining high productivity.

Key Benefits for the Modern Farmer

• High Protein Output: Engineered for markets that demand superior grain composition.
• Harvesting Performance: Optimal pod attachment height facilitates low-loss harvesting, ensuring more of what you grow reaches the silo.
• Disease Resistance: Superior genetic defense against key pathogens lowers production costs and stabilizes yearly outcomes.

«Protein ka» is the right choice for producers looking for a reliable, high-tech soybean variety. Whether you are focusing on export markets or domestic processing, IFVCNS (Novi Sad) provides a consistent, high-performing seed that helps you maintain a competitive edge in the field.
