Ezra

Ezra soybean variety is a mid-season, high-yielding hybrid with a vegetative period of approximately 100-122 days, ensuring its adaptability to various climatic conditions. This variety is characterized by vigorous early growth and a semi-determinate growth habit, reaching plant heights of 80-90 cm. Due to its high branching ability and stability, Ezra is successfully used in intensive cultivation technologies, including direct seeding.

One of the key features of this variety is its high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and stress factors. The soybean demonstrates resistance to sclerotinia, downy mildew, septoria, ascochytosis, fusarium, and bacterial blight, as well as to adverse conditions such as drought, lodging, and pod cracking. The high degree of leaf and stem pubescence with a characteristic gray hue provides additional protection against biotic and abiotic stresses.

The Ezra variety is valued for its high protein content (40-43%) and oil content (20-22%), making it especially attractive for the food industry. Large seeds with a 1000-seed weight of about 220 g contribute to record-breaking yields, as evidenced by achievements in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario, as well as its popularity in Ukraine. Soybeans maintain yield quality and protein composition even when harvested late, ensuring stable production and high economic efficiency.
