The Kira VI soybean variety is a mid-early variety of Glycine max (L.) Merr., recommended for cultivation in the Amur region and the Khabarovsk Krai. The plant is indeterminate, of medium height, with a reddish-brown pubescence on the main stem and an anthocyanin coloration of the hypocotyl. The leaves are compound, with acutely oval leaflets, and the flowers are purple. The seeds are yellow with a yellow hilum, and the mass of 1000 seeds is about 157–191 g. The vegetation period lasts approximately 112–113 days, the time of flowering is very early, which contributes to timely crop maturity. The average yield of Kira VI soybean in the recommended regions ranges from 15.9 to 21.5 centners per hectare, while the maximum yield indicators reached 30.3–31 centners per hectare in various enterprises in the Amur region and Krasnodar Krai. The protein content in the seeds varies from 29.4% to 40.23%, and the fat content from 19.18% to 21.1%, making this variety promising for producing high-quality raw material with good nutritional characteristics. Kira VI soybean is distinguished by its resistance and adaptability to the climatic conditions of the Far East region, which is confirmed by its inclusion in the state register and recommendations for cultivation in the specified regions. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and high yield indicators, this variety is suitable for efficient cultivation for seed production with high protein and fat content, which is important for the food and feed industries.
