The «Debut» soybean variety is an early-maturing crop with a vegetative period of about 114 days, intended for cultivation in the Far East region, specifically in the Amur region. The plant is determinate, low or medium height, with white flowers and yellow seeds; the mass of 1000 seeds is 183 grams. The variety is characterized by high productivity and resistance to pod cracking, making it suitable for mechanized cultivation. Protein content in seeds reaches 39.3%, and fat content — 19.8%, indicating high crop quality.
The «Debut» variety was included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia in 2022 and has already shown high yield indicators, exceeding the standard «Dauria» variety by 2.6 centners per hectare. The potential yield of the variety reaches 32.4 centners per hectare, and in the Amur region in 2021, up to 37 centners per hectare were obtained on experimental plots. These indicators make «Debut» a promising choice for agricultural producers focused on obtaining high and stable soybean yields.
Growing soybeans, including the «Debut» variety, requires special attention to agronomic practices, especially in weed control, since soybeans have low competitiveness in the early stages of vegetation. For successful cultivation, it is important to observe proper crop rotation, choose weed-free fields, and ensure timely crop protection. Moreover, soybeans are a valuable crop for soil improvement, enriching it with nitrogen and improving its structure, which positively affects subsequent crops in the rotation.
