RGT TALLISMAN sunflower is an early-maturing simple hybrid specifically developed for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. It features high drought tolerance and stability, ensuring a reliable and high yield even under water deficit conditions. Plants have medium height, with a vegetation period ranging from 101 to 109 days. The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type with oil content in seeds at 54-56%, making it attractive for high-quality vegetable oil production.

One of the key features of RGT TALLISMAN is its high resistance to various races of the sunflower moth (tolerance to races A-G), significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits good resistance to lodging and several diseases, including Phomopsis, Phomopsis, false powdery mildew, rust, and basket sclerotinia, with resistance ratings from 7 to 9 on a 10-point scale. This makes it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to minimize losses and enhance product quality.

Planting density recommendations vary depending on the cultivation zone: under adequate moisture, the optimal density is 50-55 thousand plants per hectare; in areas with insufficient moisture — 45-52 thousand; and in arid regions — 40-50 thousand plants per hectare.
