Soybean VNIIOZ 31

The VNIIOZ 31 soybean variety is a mid-early semi-determinate variety with low growth, ranging from erect to semi-erect type, with gray pubescence. Seeds of this variety have medium size, elongated-flattened shape, and yellow color with yellow hilum. The mass of 1000 seeds varies depending on the region and growing conditions, reaching from 116 to 183 grams. Protein content in seeds is from 38 to 42%, and fat content is about 19%, making this variety especially valuable for food use.

VNIIOZ 31 is distinguished by high yield, which in various regions and conditions can reach from 14 to 37 centners per hectare. Especially high yield indicators are noted when growing on irrigated lands, where the variety demonstrates drought resistance and good responsiveness to a differentiated irrigation regime. Under irrigation conditions, yield can reach 4.08-4.39 tons per hectare, while in non-irrigated conditions it is about 1.4 tons per hectare.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Lower Volga and Far Eastern regions, in particular Amur Oblast. The vegetation period is about 114 days, which allows for effective planning of agronomic activities. Thanks to its high technological and biological characteristics, VNIIOZ 31 is a promising choice for agricultural enterprises focused on obtaining high-quality protein and oil from soybeans.
