Description Avrora
Aurora soybean variety belongs to the ultraprecoce maturity group with a vegetation period of 80-85 days, ensuring full maturity in the first decade of August. Due to this, the variety is a reliable predecessor for winter cereal crops. The plant is indeterminate, medium height, with the lower pod attachment height ranging from 8-13 cm. The 1000-seed mass varies from 120 to 180 g depending on the growing region. The recommended planting density is 800-900 thousand plants per hectare, which promotes optimal development and high yield.

Aurora variety demonstrates high yield in various climatic zones of Ukraine: in the Steppe zone it reaches 2.6 t/ha, in the Forest-Steppe zone — 3.4 t/ha, and in the Polissia zone — 3.0 t/ha. According to the State Register, the yield in the Central and Central Chernozem regions is 21.1 and 25.7 centners/ha respectively. Soybean exhibits high resistance to pod shattering and cracking, as well as lodging. Additionally, the variety shows high field resistance to fungal and viral diseases, including gray mold, and increased resistance to water and nutrient deficiency during generative organ formation.

Aurora is characterized by optimal protein and oil content in the seeds, ensuring high taste qualities and making the variety suitable for use in the food industry. Protein content ranges from 30-42%, and oil content — from 19.4 to 23%. The variety responds well to fertilizer application and irrigation, allowing increased yield and product quality. Recommended for cultivation in all soil-climatic zones of Ukraine, making it a universal and profitable choice for agricultural producers.
