Aratta soybean is a medium-early grain variety recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, as well as in the Polissya region. The vegetation period lasts 80-90 days, allowing effective use of the variety in various agroclimatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 100-120 cm, have an intermediate growth type and light pubescence. Seeds are round-convex in shape, medium-sized, yellow with a light or light-brown hilum. Pods are light-brown, slightly curved, containing three to four medium-sized seeds.
The Aratta variety is characterized by high yield potential up to 5.6 t/ha and average yield of about 4.9 t/ha. It is resistant to drought, major diseases, and stress factors, making it a reliable choice for farmers. Seeds contain high protein levels — from 37.8% to 39.6%, as well as oil in the amount of 20.4-21.8%, ensuring high nutritional and economic value of the product.
Aratta is intended for grain production and can be used in crop rotation, including as a predecessor for sowing winter crops. Thanks to its quality characteristics and adaptability, the variety is widely used in agriculture, ensuring stable and high yields when agronomic requirements are met.
