Soybean Chamomile

Predictable Growth and Field Management

When working with the "Romashka" soybean variety, the focus is on predictable vegetation cycles. The 90–100 day maturity period allows for precise harvesting schedule planning, which is essential in the variable climate of Ukraine. Operators will appreciate the uniform plant height of 80–90 cm. This consistency ensures smooth harvester operation with minimal losses, eliminating the need to constantly adjust cutting headers.

Reduced Chemical Load

Plant protection is often the biggest budget drain. "Romashka" helps reduce these expenses through its inherent genetic resistance. The variety shows strong tolerance against Septoria, bacterial blight, and stem rot. Furthermore, it effectively resists Mycosphaerella leaf spot, brown spot, and various viral mosaic diseases. Fewer passes with a sprayer mean lower fuel consumption and less soil compaction, effectively lowering your cost per hectare.

Grain Quality and Marketability

Lab tests confirm consistent quality with a protein content of 39–41% and oil content of 20–21%. These parameters are highly valued by processors, ensuring a steady demand for the harvest. Bred by the Kirovohrad Institute of Agro-Industrial Production, "Romashka" is a reliable tool for agronomists seeking a stable variety that offers high-quality output and requires less intensive management compared to more sensitive hybrids.
