Sorghum Zubr

Sorghum hybrid 'Zubr' is a high-yielding sugar sorghum variety, optimally adapted for cultivation in the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe. Studies have shown that at a seeding rate of 200,000 seeds per hectare, an optimal plant density is achieved, promoting full growth and development. This approach ensures maximum yield and improves the bioenergy characteristics of the crop.

This variety is distinguished by high efficiency of land use, allowing significantly increased output while adhering to recommended agronomic practices. 'Zubr' demonstrates resilience to adverse conditions and contributes to stable yield formation even in the variable climate of the region.

Sorghum 'Zubr' is widely used in both food and biofuel industries due to its high sugar and biomass content. The recommended plant density ensures an optimal balance between plant numbers and their development, positively affecting the quality and quantity of the obtained raw material.
