EU ARMATTAN

EU Armattan is a high-quality grain-silage hybrid intended for use as a feed crop in livestock farming. It is characterized by high sugar and starch content, which ensures excellent feed quality and high feed digestibility, serving as an effective energy source for cattle. Thanks to these characteristics, EU Armattan is widely used for silage and grain production, not inferior to corn in terms of yield.

This variety is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, which is related to its high resistance to arid conditions. EU Armattan has high growth energy at early development stages and excellent lodging resistance, which contributes to a stable and quality harvest even under complex climatic conditions. The variety is late-maturing, which allows for effective planning of agrotechnical measures.

The variety is produced by the company Lidea. EU Armattan has already gained recognition among many livestock farms that are actively switching to sorghum due to its cost-effectiveness and high productivity. The variety requires twice as much less moisture compared to corn, which makes it particularly valuable in regions with limited water supply.
