PREMIERE is an ultra-early grain sorghum hybrid, characterized by its short stature and high plasticity, making it undemanding regarding growing conditions. The plants reach an average height of 100-110 cm, have red grain, and a vegetative period from 105 to 115 days. The branching coefficient is 2-3, which promotes good development and crop formation. The hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy and a yield potential of up to 11 tons per hectare, making it attractive for farmers seeking stable and high yields.
The variety possesses high resistance to various diseases and stress factors. It demonstrates resistance to mold, bunt, helminthosporium, and fusarium at a level of 7-9 points, as well as high resistance to lodging and stress conditions. This allows growing PREMIERE in various regions, including territories with unfavorable climatic conditions. The drought resistance of the hybrid is at a medium level, which corresponds to standard requirements for grain sorghum.
PREMIERE is suitable for growing throughout Ukraine and some regions of Russia, such as the Middle-Volga and Lower-Volga. Under field conditions, the hybrid shows stable yield, which on average reaches 10-11 tons per hectare, while maximum indicators can significantly exceed this level. The plant has a symmetrical, medium-length and density panicle with a short neck and light-brown glumes at maturity. Due to its characteristics and disease resistance, PREMIERE is a reliable choice for grain production.
