Sorghum Sprint II is a high-yielding, mid-ripening hybrid of grain sorghum, recommended for cultivation in steppe zones. Sprint II is especially suitable for low-fertility soils and adverse growing conditions, demonstrating resistance to lodging and stress factors.
The grain of sorghum Sprint II is tannin-free, making it versatile for various applications. It is used for producing premium spirits, flour, and animal feed. The hybrid's high resistance to fungal pathogens and viruses, including mold, helminthosporium, fusarium, and other diseases, ensures stable yields and product quality. The potential yield of this variety reaches 10-12 tons per hectare.
Agronomic characteristics of Sprint II include intensive early growth, high resistance to stress conditions, and good water release. Plants reach a height of 110-120 cm, and the grain is white. Seeds are supplied in 20 kg bags and are treated with Maxim XL, which promotes successful sowing and crop development.
