The hybrid sorghum PR88Y20 is a high-yielding and drought-resistant variety, adapted for cultivation in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine. This medium-early variety, registered in 2009 and produced by Pioneer, features a strong root system that ensures high plant resilience during dry periods and high temperatures.

Sorghum PR88Y20 exhibits high resistance to diseases, including fusarium, as well as lodging and shattering, contributing to stable yields. The plant's stem is strong and sturdy, with white grain that is free of tannin, improving its quality. The recommended planting rate is 120-160 thousand seeds per hectare, allowing yields up to 100 centners per hectare.
