Description Amulet
The sorghum-sudangrass hybrid of type AMULET® is a high-yield agricultural crop intended for feed and grain use. This hybrid is distinguished by its earliness, with a vegetation period of 44 to 51 days, allowing for efficient use under various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 220–230 cm and have a stand density of 160 to 250 thousand per hectare, contributing to high productivity.

AMULET® is characterized by strong bushiness and an erect bush type. The stem is long, with a core that is two-thirds dry, while leaves are of medium length and width with a dull-gray midrib. The panicle is symmetrical and inclined, and the glume scales turn brown-black upon maturity. Seeds are of elliptical shape with a light brown hue; the mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 19.3 to 22.2 grams.

Grain yield of the hybrid reaches 5.8–6.8 tons per hectare, while green mass yield is 30.0–38.5 tons per hectare. Protein and carotene content in green mass is high, making this hybrid particularly valuable for livestock feeding. Additionally, AMULET® possesses high resistance to lodging and drought resistance at standard levels, ensuring yield stability even under unfavorable conditions. Thanks to these qualities, sorghum AMULET® is widely used in the agricultural sector for producing feed, food products, and biofuel.
