Maize KWS VOLTARIO

Stable yields with German breeding

When you step into the field with KWS Voltario, you immediately understand why KWS maintains such a high reputation. This dent-type corn behaves in a predictable and understandable way on the farm. With this hybrid, there are no issues: the dent-type grain provides excellent moisture dry-down, which is critical to avoid overpaying for elevator drying fees.

Field practice and operation

The intended use is grain production, and in this regard, KWS Voltario performs like a true workhorse. Key points to note after the season:

• Stalk strength: The plant is robust and does not lodge even in strong winds, which significantly simplifies the combine operator's job.
• Threshing: Thanks to the structure of the ear, the grain threshes cleanly and without unnecessary mechanical damage, which is important for the market appearance and storage quality.
• Fertilizer response: The response is predictable; there are no sudden growth spurts that could lead to lodging.

Managing this hybrid doesn't require any complex "hocus-pocus." Follow the standard technological map and adhere to crop protection application timelines, and Voltario will reach its full potential. Under stress conditions (such as the dry spells in July), the hybrid does not stall in its development, which speaks to the solid genetics of the German producer.

For equipment operators, this is a user-friendly variety: the uniformity of the ears and their attachment height allow you to set the header once and move through the field without constant stops. If you are looking for a stable result with minimal hassle during harvest, this is a proven option.
