Sorghum NEIGHBOR

The Sorghum-Sudan hybrid 'Neighborhood' represents a mid-season agronomic variety intended for use in hay, silage, silage juice, and green fodder. It is distinguished by high foliation and contains 9-13% protein and about 13% sugar in the green mass, ensuring high nutritional value of the feeds. The hybrid is resistant to lodging and drought, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions and soil types, including light sandy and heavy clay soils, as well as saline soils.

The average yield of the 'Neighborhood' hybrid varies depending on the region: in the North Caucasus region it is about 114.6 c/ha, in the Middle Volga region — 132.1 c/ha, and in the Ural region — 55.5 c/ha. According to the originator data, the yield of green mass over 2-3 cuts reaches 40-80 tons per hectare, and hay — 10-12 tons per hectare. The sowing rate depends on the cultivation technology and ranges from 13 to 30 kg/ha depending on the crop purpose.

The hybrid 'Neighborhood' is characterized by its unpretentiousness to growing conditions and high resistance to common diseases. It is suitable for various agricultural technical practices and provides a stable yield when recommended sowing rates are observed. Thanks to its characteristics and universal application, this hybrid is an effective solution for producing quality feeds in various regions.
