Description Harmony
Harmony is a soybean (Glycine max) variety characterized by early maturity and an indeterminate growth type with a semi-determinate plant shape. Leaves are lanceolate in shape and green in color, while flowers are white. Seeds are elongated and flattened, yellow in color with a yellow hilum, and pods are brown. The average mass of 1000 seeds reaches up to 181.3 g in certain regions. The height of the lower pod attachment varies from 12.4 to 15.0 cm. The variety is distinguished by high seed yield, reaching in some cases up to 33.2 centners per hectare, and outperforms other adapted varieties in terms of green mass yield per dry matter. Protein content in seeds ranges from 34.0 to 35.9%, while fat content ranges from 21.7 to 22.4%. The variety is resistant to shattering and lodging, and demonstrates medium resistance to ascohitosis and weak infestation by fruit moths. To protect soybean crops of the Harmony variety from annual broad-leaved weeds, the herbicide Harmony is recommended. This product contains the active substance thifensulfuron-methyl at a concentration of 750 g/kg and belongs to the class of sulfonylureas. The herbicide is effective against a wide range of weeds, including crucifers, smartweed, and nightshade, and is applied at the 2-6 leaf stage of weeds. The mechanism of action is based on penetration into weed leaves followed by blocking the enzyme acetolactate synthase, which leads to the cessation of growth of unwanted plants. The application rate for soybeans is 6-8 g/ha, and treatment is carried out at the 1-2 true leaf stage of the crop, often in combination with the product TRENDR 90. The herbicide Harmony Classic is a systemic preparation with two active substances that quickly penetrate into the leaves and roots of weeds, providing both foliar and partial soil action. It is intended for protecting soybeans from annual broad-leaved weeds such as mustard, belladonna, and nettle, as well as volunteer sunflower and rapeseed. The concentration of active substances is 187.5+187.5 g/kg, and the application rate is 35 g/ha. Treatment is carried out upon the appearance of the first trifoliate leaf on soybeans, which ensures effective weed control and contributes to obtaining a high yield.
