The 'Sapphire' variety is distinguished by its early maturity; fruits ripen in the second decade of August. Due to high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -40 °C, and resistance to diseases and pests, this variety is suitable for growing in various climatic conditions. The tree has high yield, which is expressed every year, and the fruits withstand transportation well, which is important for commercial use.
