Description RMS 120
RMS 120 is a single-seed diploid hybrid of sugar beet on a sterile basis of normal type, designed to obtain high sugar content. The variety is characterized by a cylindrical root shape with deep soil immersion (80-95%), which contributes to its stability and crop quality. Plants are of medium height and mid-season, which allows for their effective use in various agronomic conditions.

The hybrid is characterized by good resistance to the main diseases of sugar beet, such as pithy root rot, root aphid, and cercosporosis, as well as medium resistance to powdery mildew. Thanks to these qualities, RMS 120 is adapted to various climatic zones, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, and Ural regions, which makes it a universal choice for growing in different conditions.

The variety yield is high and stable: in the Central region, it reaches about 584 c/ha with 19.7% sugar content, in the Volga-Vyatsk region — 590 c/ha with 20.2% sugariness. The maximum recorded yield was 637 c/ha. The sugariness of the hybrid averages 17.3%, which ensures high efficiency of sugar production. RMS 120 is a reliable and productive variety for agrarians focused on obtaining a quality and rich sugar beet crop.
