This variety is distinguished by its high frost resistance and resistance to snow mold, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in regions with high soil moisture and on problematic soils. Created using the method of complex hybrid population based on 37 best short-stemmed analogs from domestic and foreign breeding, the variety possesses high ecological plasticity and is recommended for cultivation using minimum and zero technologies.

Tatarskaya 1 is characterized by group resistance to root rot and snow mold pathogens, which significantly increases its disease resistance compared to other varieties. Protein content in the grain is at the level of the Radon variety, while resistance to rust and powdery mildew meets standards, and resistance to root rots and ergot exceeds the indicators of the Estafeta Tatarstana variety by 30-40%. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is suitable for use for both grain-forage and fodder purposes.
