Agralp - 260

Agralp 260 is a medium-early, simple hybrid of sweet corn with a universal use direction, suitable for both grain and silage production. Plants reach a height of 240 to 300 cm, with ears positioned at 100-120 cm. The ear, 19-25 cm long and 4-5 cm in diameter, contains 480 to 640 kernels of a silicon-toothed type with orange-yellow color. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 320-360 g, indicating high grain quality and density. The hybrid's potential yield reaches 150 c/ha, and under favorable growing conditions, actual yield approaches this figure.

One of the key features of Agralp 260 is its high cold and drought tolerance, enabling successful cultivation in the Forest Steppe and Steppe zones. Plants demonstrate rapid early growth and form a robust root system, ensuring reliable nutrient and water supply even under adverse conditions. This contributes to high lodging resistance, helping preserve yield and ease harvest.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases such as anthracnose, fusarium, common rust, and fomosis. Throughout the vegetation period, plants maintain excellent phytosanitary condition, reducing the need for intensive protection and enhancing economic efficiency. The recommended planting density is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare in the Forest Steppe and 55-60 thousand in the Steppe, optimizing resource use and maximizing yield.
