Kharkivskoye 98 is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions, confirming its adaptability to medium-maturing conditions. The crude protein content in the grain is approximately 12.4%, ensuring high nutritional value of the product.
The variety is well-suited for mechanized harvesting due to its resistance to lodging and shattering. For optimal cultivation, it is recommended to plant after perennial grasses, peas, or corn for grain. The recommended seeding rate is 4.0 million viable seeds per hectare, ensuring good stand and crop development.
