SINILGA

Sinilga is a winter rye variety intended for cultivation in the regions of Eastern Siberia and the Far East, including Amur Oblast, Krasnoyarsk Krai, and Irkutsk Oblast. This medium-late variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, resistance to lodging and drought, making it a reliable choice for northern and harsh climatic conditions. Rye Sinilga is characterized by good baking qualities, which increases its value for agricultural production.

Plants of the Sinilga variety reach a height of 96 to 138 cm, and the mass of 1000 grains varies within 21-29 g. Yield in the East Siberian region is about 27.6 c/ha, and in the Far Eastern region - 18.1 c/ha, indicating the high productivity of the variety in these climatic zones. To achieve maximum yields, the application of nitrogen fertilizers in two stages is recommended: in autumn at sowing and in the form of top dressings in the spring-summer period, as well as the use of microelements such as copper and manganese, especially at the first node phase.

The Sinilga variety was created within scientific research aimed at developing high-yield and climate-adapted winter rye varieties. Work is being carried out jointly with the Federal Research Center of the All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources named after N.I. Vavilov. Thanks to its characteristics, Sinilga is a promising variety for expanding winter rye sown areas in northern regions of Russia, ensuring stable yields and high grain quality.
