Description Helltop
Helltop is a winter rye hybrid distinguished by high yield and stability under various agroclimatic conditions. It exhibits excellent resistance to powdery mildew, high resistance to rust and sporides, and moderate resistance to rhiophytophthora. Thanks to these characteristics, Helltop ensures stable yield quality and quantity, making it attractive for cultivation as a forage crop with protein content ranging from medium to high levels.

The Helltop hybrid is characterized by large, light-colored grains with a 1000-grain weight ranging from 34 to 43 grams, high tillering coefficient, and selection-bred thickened stem walls, providing excellent resistance to lodging. Plants reach a height of 92 to 148 cm, promoting good growth and yield formation. Helltop is recommended for cultivation on light soils and in moderate-climate regions, such as the Kaliningrad region, where yields can reach 27.2 c/ha, with a maximum potential of 85.1 c/ha.

For successful cultivation of Helltop, it is necessary to observe a seeding rate of 170 to 210 germinating seeds per square meter and provide plants with necessary fertilizers, including phosphorus, potassium, magnesium sulfate, and magnesium. Due to its high resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew and rust, there is no need for preventive application of plant protection products, reducing costs and increasing the economic efficiency of cultivation.
